The next time you have animated a camera pan (or tilt or lift or whatever), please try this little trick: select the camera and open the graph editor (or whatever it's called in Max, Lightwave, or whatever you use). Go to the spline for the camera move, select the begining and end tangents, and then flatten them. In the end, the move should have a more "S on its side" appearance than a straight line. This will make the camera feel like it has some weight to it, rather than jerking to an abrupt halt at the end of its move. I see this time and time again in TV shows and made for TV/ DVD movies and it's a simple fix.
I guess that's all I had to say...
Happy New Year, and may God bless you in this year to come.
To each and every one of you - strangers and friends alike - I wish a Merry Christmas, no matter where you may be. May God bless you all and bring you warmth and joy this holiday season and into the next year. Merry Christmas to you (especially you... you know who you are !
It's been a while. Holy hell, it's been two years since I posted anything in this space. I'm not much of a talker. I just feel the need to wish everyone who's so kind to watch me a Happy Thanksgiving.
